  • Do you deliver?
Absolutely! Plus free delivery if you live in Ruislip :)
  • How to transport the cake?
Here's some tips on how to avoid any cake casualties when driving! - Place your cake flat in either the front passenger footwell or the boot - If you have a large boot try to place the cake nearer to the backseats - If you have a non-slip mat they'll prevent any sliding! - If your cake is buttercream make sure to keep it in the fridge as long as possible before transporting - Long drive ahead? A ganache or fondant cake may be a safer option (all fondant cakes have a layer of ganache underneath) - Make sure your heater isn't on and blast the aircon if you can! Overall drive slowly and use your tiptoes to break!
  • How to store the cake?
Cakes can be kept in a cool dry area before serving and cutting. Buttercream cakes should be kept in the fridge before serving, fondant cakes however may attract moisture and "sweat" if kept in the fridge. Once your cake is cut any leftovers should be wrapped and stored in the fridge and consumed within a week from the day it was baked. Cupcakes should be eaten within 3 days. Too much cake? Fear not, simply slice and store in your freezer for up to 3 months!
  • How to cut the cake?
The best way to maximise portions is to cut the cake like a loaf of bread then cut into rectangles. Most of my cakes are nice and tall so you can also cut those slices horizontally as well for party servings. Be careful to remove any dowels, cake boards between tiers or any inedible cake toppers before serving!
